The Stewart Lodge
This 1929 bungalow was originally built for the daughter of a local judge. It was soon purchased by the Ford Stewart family who owned a men’s clothing store for decades in The Leesville Historic District. Miss Connie, Ford’s wife, was widely known in the community for her beautiful and lavish gardens. Many of her original flower beds and shrubs remain and are being nursed back to their original state. Modified many times over the years, The Stewart Lodge today still features the original rough hewn walls and pine floors from its original construction.
